Clarence Junior Whitley (Whitey) 80, died Aug. 17, 2022. He was born Reading, Ohio and moved to this area in 1988 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a retail manager and loved fishing, golf, and card games. He also loved his family and dogs and turtles.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence, Sr. and Geneva Whitley; 4 sisters, Winelene Richardson, Constance (Betty) McAdams, Juanita Norish, and Edra Jean Ulland, also a brother Billy (Joe) Whitley.

He is survived by his wife Margaret M. (Peggy) Whitley; son Jeff (Lora) Whitley; daughter, Lori Zimmer; 3 grandchildren, Mickensie Whitley, Matthew Whitley, and Devin Zimmer; sister, Jackie (Tim) Lynch; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two beloved dogs, Molly and Beni; a turtle, Happy; and two goldfish, Mr. & Mrs. Goldie.

A memorial service will be held for invited friends and family.
