It is with heavy heart to announce the passing of Chris Edward Conway (Largo, FL) who left us unexpectedly on May 31, 2025, at the age of 64.

Chris was born on Dec. 9, 1960 in Stone Mountain, Georgia, to James Conway and Patricia York. He graduated from Parkview High School and went on to pursue a career he loved as a master mechanic.  He was a man who had a great curiosity for learning and a man with a generous heart. He had a contagious laugh, smile, quick wit and a passion for life. He was always willing to lend a hand whenever he was able. His hobbies included fishing, camping, traveling, tinkering on cars, and hiking.

He is survived by his partner of 34 yrs, Kathy Brothers: only daughter A. Devin Chatwood (spouse Jimmy), only grandson CJ; remaining siblings Jayson Conway (spouse Melissa), Meganne Conway, and Courtney Cash (spouse James); aunt Katherine Conway; nieces and nephews Kathryn Fitzpatrick (spouse Barry), Austin Conway, Jayson Conway Jr; great niece and nephews Ava, Bryce, and Keegan.

Preceded in death by parents James Conway, Patricia York and sister Allison C. Edwards.

He may be gone from our sight, but he will remain in our heart.

Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

His remains will return home to Georgia. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 29, 2025 from 2-5pm
