Cheri Danielle Murphy, 39, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on April 20, 2026.

Cheri was born and raised in St. Petersburg, where she built a life centered around family,

compassion, and faith. She worked as a massage therapist, dedicating herself to helping others

find comfort and healing. Cheri loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Chapel in

Seminole.

Above all, Cheri was a loving wife and a deeply devoted mother. Her greatest joy in life was her

family, and she poured her heart into raising her sons and caring for those she loved. She had a

gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a way of making everyone feel loved. Her warmth and

compassion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Cheri was preceded in death by her mother, Santa Walton (2021); her uncle, Steve Walton

(2025); and her grandfather, Gene Mills (2014).

She is survived by her loving husband, Justin Murphy, her sons Liam and Nolan, her sister

Kristin Newton, husband Jesse and their children, Landon and Kaylin; her cousin, Raquel

Mateer, husband Bryan and their children, Alina, Alexander and Emery; her grandmother, Santa

Mills; her aunts, Cindy Walton, Juanita Mills, and Carrie; her parents-in-law, Ed and Arlene

Murphy; her sister-in-law, Trish Lindsay, husband Dave and their children, Morgaan, Ethan, and

Ryan; her brother-in-law, Mike Murphy, wife Courtney and their children, Colin and Miles.

Cheri will be remembered for her compassion, her strength, her faith, and the deep love she had

for her family and friends. Though her time here was far too short, the memories she created and

the love she gave will live on in all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
