Chad M.
Faulkner
Oct 31, 1973 — Jul 24, 2024
Tampa
On July 24, 2024, Chad Michael Faulkner, age 50, passed away peacefully and beautifully surrounded by those who loved him dearly at Haley's Cove Community Living Center (CLC) in Tampa under the care of VA Hospice. A loving son, brother, uncle, veteran, and friend to many, Chad will be truly missed. After surviving a brain injury in 1999, Chad lived 25 courageous years at the CLC, his sweet home away from home, where he thrived under the care and unconditional love of his many dedicated doctors, nurses, caregivers and chaplains. Born October 31,1973, in Frederick, Maryland, Chad lived in Georgia and Minnesota, but Chad considered home to be the Seminole neighborhood of Rustic Pines.
During his first 25 years of life, Chad loved all things baseball, playing soccer, swimming, outdoor games, music and hanging out with his close friends and their families. He attended St. Jerome Catholic Church and graduated from Seminole High School in 1992. Chad was a hard worker and enlisted in the Navy in 1992. He served as an electrical/mechanical equipment repairman on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Chad found pure joy boating and fishing on his Carolina Skiff with his black lab Bailey. Chad loved fun, outdoor adventures with his beloved younger brother, Bryce, and niece, Kaley. He had a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and the ability to quietly light up a room. Chad loved to joke around with others and was an authentic, sensitive, caring, handsome man.
Chad was preceded in death by his adoring grandparents, Sam and Mary Dane, and Luigi and Clementine Carollo. He is survived by his loving, dedicated mother, Lenore Faulkner; his father, Dr. Roy Thomas Faulkner; brothers, Roy and Bryce; sister, Jennifer; uncles, Jim and Bill Dane (Norma): cousins, Terry (Maria) and Billy; his extended family and relatives; his dear Seminole friends and families; and all who filled him with their love at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, especially his loving caregiver and honorary big brother, Melvin.
With extremely grateful hearts, Chad's family simply asks for prayers, cards and personal memories which can be posted to this website under the guestbook condolences.
