Cean Garla Schrader, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL, died peacefully at home on December 30, 2021. She was born in Joplin. Mo, and was married for over 50 years and raised two daughters. In addition, numerous volunteer and secretarial positions, Cean was a campaign manager, business owner and ultimately she retired as the director of sales support for a national company. Although she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; and grandson Aaron Okus, Cean will continue to be loved and remembered by her family: daughters Kara Schrader-Smith (Jeff) of Clearwater, and Marady Okus (Terrence) of St.Petersburg; granddaughter, Hiliary Vincent (Payne) of Clearwater; and a grandson, Nathaniel Okus of St. Petersburg.

The family invites all to attend a Celebration of Life at Boca Ciega Point Bayside Clubhouse, 5150 Duhme Road, St. Petersburg, on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at 1:00 pm. A second celebration and burial will be held at a later date in Joplin, Mo.
