Olver, Carolyn Lucille Mock, 82, passed into the heavenly arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Crist on October 5, 2016. She was born in Videtta, Ga. but most of her school years were in the Savannah, Ga. area. In her late teens she married Harold (Hal) Olver after his return from the Korean war, with service in Japan and Iwo Jima. While living in the states of Washington and Michigan she was employed by different federal agencies in the administrative area. Later, she moved to Washington DC. and both were employed by the General Accounting Office. They bought a home in Burke, Va. where they raised their children, Michael and Karen. In 1980, the family moved to St. Petersburg, FL, where she later retired from the VA and helped manage their personal real estate. Carolyn was a beautiful woman, inside and out, loving to all, and a great partner, mother, and grandmother. She loved flowers and was very gifted in the arts and crafts in her own home hobby shop. She was dedicated to her family and those she loved. Her warm beautiful smile and her winks will be dearly missed.
Carolyn was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Hal; Son, Michael (Lisa); Daughter Karen (Derrick); Eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
