Carla I. Filipetti, 86, of St. Petersburg, Florida died Friday, May 11, 2018. She was born in Chicago, Ill  and moved to this area in the early 1980s from Chicago, Ill.
Among her many office manager positions, her last and most enjoyable employment was at "Sign of the Dolphin" when it was located in Madeira Beach.
Carla most of all loved to laugh, but she also loved golf, sewing, cooking and living life to the fullest no matter what the circumstances.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Filipetti, her parents Fred C. and Elsbeth Lorenz and her brother Martin H. B. Lorenz.
She is survived by the extended Lorenz family, the extended Filipetti family and her dear friends Patti Branch and Ken Gardner, Georgia and Rick Ickes and Fanny Taylor among many others near and dear to her heart.
