In Loving Memory
Anthony Perry Piloneo
January 7, 1976 - June 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Anthony Perry Piloneo, age 50, a beloved father, devoted son, cherished brother, supportive partner, fun & loving uncle, loyal friend, and respected professional. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, Anthony passed away suddenly and peacefully at his Orlando residence, yet far too soon leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply and will miss him beyond words.
Anthony lived life to the absolute fullest, with joy, fun, generosity, and connection. He had an exceptional sense of humor, was remarkably quick-witted in a way that could light up an entire room, and was blessed with a rare ability to make people feel special, welcomed, and instantly at ease. To know Anthony was to know laughter. To love him was to feel part of something bigger. He believed deeply in bringing people together—whether organizing family reunions, golfing with friends, or simply showing up when someone needed him. Community wasn't just important to him; it was his purpose. Many of his family members and friends will forever remember the stories, his silly & mischievous antics, his clever observations, and the unforgettable moments he created simply by being himself.
Professionally, Anthony poured that same passion and dedication into his work. As Site Director and Partner at Conquest Research, he played a vital role in advancing new pharmaceutical and biotechnology products that will continue to help countless people. His colleagues knew him as a leader who worked tirelessly, cared deeply, and always made room for humor even on the hardest days.
Outside of work, Anthony embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved being out on the golf course, surrounded by friends, sunshine, and friendly (or fierce) competition. And as a proud, devoted Tampa Bay sports and FSU fan, he cheered on every local team with unwavering loyalty—through every season, every win, and every heartbreak.
But the team he cherished most was the one he and Brianne created with Cooper and Cameron. Being a father was the greatest joy of Anthony's life. With Cooper, he was caring, thoughtful, and committed to learning how to best support her as she grew from Daddy's baby girl to a beautiful, smart young lady in her teenage years. He traveled the country for his son Cameron's baseball and flag football games, and he approached fatherhood with the same heart and intention he brought to everything else. He loved his children unconditionally and was immensely proud of the young people they were becoming. His devotion to his children was constant and profound, and he will be remembered as a truly loving and present father.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Anna Liza Piloneo and Cesar Piloneo, his grandmother Fermina Panelo, as well as his father, C. Perry Piloneo who deeply inspired the way Anthony lived his life.
Anthony is survived by his beloved daughter, Cooper Piloneo, 15 yo and son, Cameron Piloneo, 13 yo, and by their mother and his partner, Brianne Logan. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Piloneo; his sister, Maricor Pasini (husband John); his sister, JoAnn Piloneo Bloom (husband David); his brother, Mark Piloneo; and his niece, Annalisse Robbins, and nephew, Evan Robbins. He also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family, lifelong friends, colleagues, and his community who will forever miss his warmth, his smile and unmatched loyalty. Lives were made better by knowing him.
May we honor Anthony's memory by celebrating life, loving our families fiercely, supporting one another generously, laughing often, and as much as possible not taking a single day for granted.
