Angel Guikoff, 74, of Seminole, was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, C.A., to Carmen Yicov and Maria A. Ferrera Yivcov on March 20, 1946. Angel attended boarding school at the Instituto San Francisco where he graduated with honors in Nov. 1963. He went to Seton Hall University in Sept. 1964 on a full scholarship and graduated in May 1969 with a B.S. degree. During his university days, Angel returned to Honduras for two summers where he helped build a colony of homes for the poor.

Angel married in 1969 to the late Mary Rita McCarthy with whom he had two daughters, Colleen and Carolyn. Angle returned to South Amboy, N.J. in 1972 and worked many years for the Perth Amboy Saving Institution. At that time he was also a member of the Enterprise Snorkel Fire Company and since 1980 belonged to the South Amboy Lions Club as secretary. He later worked for the Middlesex County Housing Agency until his retirement in 2006. Angel then moved to Florida until his death on Feb. 27, 2021.

Angel was preceded in death by wife and two daughters, and is survived by grandchildren, Brandy Charmello and Nicholas Charmello, and many friends in Florida and New Jersey.

He will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial is pending at this time.
