Alvin H. Pierson, 89 passed away on September 2, 2020.  He was born in Brazil Indiana and moved to St. Petersburg in 1946, from Indiana.

He held a Master's Degree in Education, worked in the Pinellas County School System for over forty-years, and served in the United States Coast Guard.  Alvin was active in Seminole United Methodist Church, fully serving in many capacities, and truly loved the Lord and his Church.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia J Pierson, parents, Joseph E. and Thelma Pierson, and Brothers, Claude R. Pierson, Joseph E. Pierson, Frank I McGlone and John R. McGlone.

Alvin is survived by his three daughters and their husbands Leigh and John Boyer, Cheryl and Jay Osteen, and Amy Pierson & Ken Mausolf; grandchildren, Bryan App, Daniel App, Julie Katigbak, and John P Boyer; great grandchildren, Riley App, Avery App, Hudson Katigbak, August App as well as many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and dearest friends Betsy and Jerry Andrews
