Albert Joseph Schehr Jr, AKA Sonny, age 91, passed away October 26, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, OH, and moved to this area, in 1979, from Carthage, OH. He was a devout Catholic and belonged to Saint Matthew's Catholic Church. He was a retired bricklayer. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Brick Layers Union. He was preceded in death by: wife, Christine Schehr, his parents, Albert and Catherine Schehr, brothers, Bob and Bill Schehr, sisters, Elaine Lemming and Karen Rogers, children, Gayle Rains McCarnan, Michelle Rains, Charles Rains, great grandson Austin Demauro. And is survived by his children, Victoria Schehr Delavan, Jacqueline Schehr Howell, Albert J. Schehr III, Sherry Rains, Keith Rains, and Johnny Rains, and siblings Marylin Honerlaw, Doris Shircliffe, and Pat Day. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Mohn Funeral Home on Friday November 1, 2024 from 1:00-1:30 p.m. with services from 1:30- 2:00 p.m. with graveside internment following the prayer services at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
